I appreciate the traditional quality of linocut and woodcut, as both have a foundational role in printmaking and bring a unique aesthetic. Linocut offers bold, stylised graphic forms that I enjoy creating through the carving process, while woodcut has a similar feel but with the added potential of laser cutting, which adds a new dimension. While these techniques aren’t central to my practice, I value them for their impact and timeless place in the world of print.
