A MATTER OF SPACE

This photographic book on Fábrica dos Leões brings together my own images and archival photographs obtained from the council, with the archival images dating back to the 1950s. Fábrica dos Leões was originally a pasta and flour factory, a significant industrial site in Évora. The factory closed its doors in 1993 and was subsequently acquired by the university in 1998.

I decided the book should be handmade so that I'm connected to the work from beginning to end.
